Turning off fast startup.

Is it okay to turn off fast startup? My Lenovo laptop has been saying on reliability history that Windows didn’t shut down properly but I have done every diagnostic test possible and it is linked to fast startup. Also, my laptop recently starts selecting the widgets and weather bar when loading into Windows and the news flyover pops out. It’s quite frustrating.I have turned off fast startup and none of those issues occur now.Have I done a good workaround? I don’t think my laptop is broken? Can someone confirm.Thanks!
