Turbo Tax 2024 Crashes On Startup

The install program requires that I have the latest version of Microsoft C installed and it is looking for the runtime package location. I had already installed the latest version, but the program will not accept it and therefore Turbo Tax won't install properly. I tried running the program as administrator to no avail. I also uninstalled/reinstalled Microsoft C and that didn't work either. Never had this problem before - how do I fix this.Thank you for your time
