Trying to do a clean install of Win 11. Bit Locker Drive Encryption Enabled.

Trying to do a clean install of Win 11. Location for installation = can not be installed in partition. Install not supported on partition; disable Bit Locker. I have never heaard of BitLocker and the computer does not have any users with Administrative privilidges. This is where I am after much Windows Tech support. Any help will be appreciated.
