So about two days ago I downloaded a trojan accidentally. It's under the name Wacatac. I tried running windows defender full scan and it could not remove it. Then I used TotalAV scan, cleaned my temp files, did three more windows defender scans, two more TotalAV scans, ran Tron script, and finally ran Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool 64-bit and Microsoft Support Emergency Response Tool. None of the scans detect anything, but the "Remediation incomplete" notice still hangs around in the Protection History tab of Windows Security (I always did full scan when I had the option). Is it gone?
