Transfering activation of Windows 10 as Windows 11 after hardware change

I had to change my laptop after the previous hardware failed suddenly. The OS on the failed hardware was a retail windows 10.At installation on the new laptop, I installed Windows 11 generated from my account on the premise that an owned Win 10 can be upgraded to Win 11.Is there a way to activate the newly installed Win 11 and deactivate the original Win 10 on my account, which will not be used anymore on the defunct laptop?
