Trackpoint and the buttons on touchpad not working

I have had my HP Elitebook for a few months. Last night, I discovered that neither my trackpoint, nor my touchpad's left and right click buttons are working. I do not know when the issue might have begun as I always use an external mouse with my computer. I have Windows 11 and my laptop often goes through windows and/or driver updates. (I have turned on automatic updates and the updates are done overnight). I believe one of those updates might have been the cause. How can I fix these problems?
