Today at around 5PM there was a forced update on my PC. I have until then had no issues on my computer at all.
Now though, every time I play any game, the computer abruptly switches off and then restarts. I can load games and get to the main menu fine, but as soon as I hit play, this issue happens.
My computer specs for reference are:
i7 7700k (Not overclocked)
Corsair H110i with 2x 140mm mag-lev fans
GTX 1080 (Not overclocked)
EVGA P2 750w PSU (Platinum rated)
32GB 3200Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM
1TB Samsung 970 NVMe SSD (x4) (785GB space free)
1TB WD Black HDD
Windows 10 stored on seperate NVMe.
I have ran several stress tests on my CPU, GPU and RAM via 3Dmark, Furmark and Aida64. With these stress tests I suffer NO instability or issues, the only time that I have any issue is when I run a benchmark in games or hit continue game. My graphics driver is up to date with the most recent version installed. The only thing that has changed on my computer is this Windows 10 forced update.
There are no bluescreens, no error logs, no reasons for these crashes, just instant power off and then restarts. Does anyone have any idea why these are happening?? I'm at the point now where I'm concerned there is going to be physical damage caused my computer, along with corrupt files from these crashes.
