Hello,
I have a question about timestamp in sent emails. So, I sent an email on Friday 5:37PM and logged off my laptop. On Saturday morning, I received an email that the recipient did not get the email, so I logged on to my laptop, opened my outlook and clicked Sent Items folder to see it was sent. And I saw the email from Friday and clicked it to forward it to the person (so in this forwarded email, the original email Sent time was listed as Friday 5:37PM). Then all of sudden the original email in the Sent Items folder, the sent time has been changed to Saturday morning. It now seems like the original email was sent on Saturday morning and I have altered the Sent Time in the forwarded email. I'm wondering if the original email was in Outbox folder and was never got sent on Friday. But when it actually got sent on Saturday morning, can the email briefly have the timestamp as when it was supposed to be sent (Friday 5:37PM) and then quickly change to when it actually got sent (Saturday morning)? Because the original email I clicked to forward has now the new timestamp as Saturday morning, it makes me look like I have altered the sent time in my forwarded email, which I did not. Please advise and let me know if you have any follow up questions. Thank you.
