I tried many times to uninstall McAfee (thanks, Adobe, for including it in your down load, grrrr....). I tried the "Programs and Features" tab in Control Panel, the uninstall link in the Start display, and the uninstall command in the McAfee directory. Each time, a small square image would appear, and stay until I closed it. It's a weird image that looks like it's part of something larger. Because it's so small, you can't see an "Uninstall" button, which you wouldn't even know was there, and you can't shift the image to find it.
