There are currently no power option available

yesterday I installed Respondus Lockdown Browser on my laptop for doing my campus exams. after I run it for the first time no I couldn't turn off or restart my pc using the power button on Start. it says "There are currently no power options available". I tried almost every solution in the Microsoft community but it won't solve the issue. I performed sfc /scannow, DISM , powercfg –restoredefaultschemes, secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose. but no use I noticed there is no Shutdown and restart options in the power options.How to solve this isuue
