The "Windows Update" section is not showing up in my settings.

Hello, I am having an issue with my with my computer. In the settings, I cannot seem to find the "Windows Update" section which should be under Privacy & security as I have seen online. I have already tried restarting and turning it off completely then boot up again but it doesn't seem to work. I tried using the troubleshooter but it also didn't work. I haven't updated this computer in months. Even the "Check for updates" button on the top right of settings' home screen wouldn't work! Please help me, I don't know what to do!
