The Tv and Movies App is running poorly and trimming videos with the Microsoft Photos App adds brightness to the videos

It started 2 weeks ago. Now most of the times when I open an MP4 file to trim it, it has to load for like 10 seconds, which had never happened in the 4 years I've had this pc. As a workaround I tried trimming videos with the Photos app which opens smoothly, but I open the trimmed video it looks like an annoying brightness got added that wasn't there while I was trimming the video. Is there any solution for both of these problems?
