Enough is enough. For the past 10 years I've had to manually re-calibrate my displays in a multi-monitor setup every time:
- The display goes to sleep
- I change my display config to include another monitor (a TV I use for watching YouTube)
- I start up my computer
- I exit out of full-screen applications
Windows keeps resetting my display calibration (gamma settings) to default.
Before you ask me to do something about my GPU drivers:
- This issue persists since Windows Vista, through Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (Multiple versions of the Enterprise edition)
- This issue persists on multiple different devices (re-built my main PC 6 times since), with different GPU configurations (AMD and nVidia)
- I'm not alone, I've scoured the web for a possible solution - but all I see is frustrated users being told by Microsoft to "reinstall drivers" (lol)
Can we please for the love of god finally get a solution to this problem over here? I realize that a whole majority of users either uses one monitor or is perfectly content with terrible color reproduction of the default calibration, but pretty please?
