The mapped network drive could not be created (...) because an extended error has occured

Hi, I had to reinstall windows 11 on my pc, so I also had to remap my network drive from a windows 7 pc. For some reason, I keep getting this error when in the network drive path I type \\<pc name\<folder name> , but it works if I type \\<pc's IP>\<folder name> . Why? I don't really want to have the name as the pc's IP
