Apologies if I am posting in the wrong forum. I was recommended to post here by a tech in response to a post I made in the community forum here The description for Event ID 6 from source MSExchange CmdletLogs cannot be found. Either Active Directory doesn't exist, or it can't be contacted..
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and Microsoft Outlook 2013 (15.0.5059.1000) 64-bit. I am running Office 365 Exchange server for my organization.
In Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Applications and Services Logs > MSExchange Management, I am getting a frequently recurring error, >10 times per day, saying:
Error Summary:
The description for Event ID 6 from source MSExchange CmdletLogs cannot be found. Either the component that raises
this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the
component on the local computer... System.Exception: Either Active Directory doesn't exist, or it can't be contacted.
Full Error Output:
The description for Event ID 6 from source

this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation
is corrupted. You can install or repair the
component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
