That dreaded winmail.dat

My issue us that the sender is sending a pdf file to 2 recipients in our company (Same domain). One person receives the the actual pdf file, and the other receives an winmail.dat

While most thing i read point to the sender, how could it be the sender when one gets the attachment, and the other one does not.

This sounds like something that is on our side.
