Hi,
I've had my Surface Laptop 3 (Intel I5 Core, 8GB Ram, 256GB) for nearly six months now, and I think it's a great laptop in all but one respect - its battery life. From the start, it never lived up to its marketing promise of 11.5 hours (not even close, even though I never really expected it to reach that max range - it's only ever really managed a bit over six hours, with my battery report estimating it's first entry months ago at 6:50 hours), but it's steadily gotten a lot worse. These last couple of weeks, I've been lucky to get 4 hours out of it, which is far below what I need and use it for. My latest battery report for estimated battery life shows this:

Needless to say, that one 102 hour blip on the 5th of October is strange, but I don't know if it's connected to the issues I'm having, since the problem dates to before that.
I don't game on it, or run anything particularly intensive. All I really use is Chrome, Word and OneNote, dominantly for research. Occasionally Skype and Zoom, but I ensure they don't stay running in the background, and usually I'm at my desk plugged in for those. The keyboard backlight stays off, and I keep the brightness fairly low. If I was performing demanding tasks I might understand this sort of battery life, but at the moment it's nowhere near up to par, and disappointing for what is otherwise a very good laptop. I've tried reinstalling battery drivers as recommended in a similar post, but that hasn't helped.
I'd rather not return it, so any other suggestions would be appreciated before I resort to that.
