Hi,
My mother is getting numerous calls from people who identify themselves as representatives of Microsoft. Our question is: Are these calls coming from you company? They claim unauthorized people are using her laptop. Mom wants the calls stopped. First she said it is none of their business who uses her laptop. Secondly, Mom who is in her nineties has authorized me (I am her daughter) to use and take care of her laptop. We are both amazed at the number of calls she has gotten about her new computer. We think these calls are scams. Certainly, if there were technical issues Microsoft would contact us either via email or traditional mail. Please advise.
