Taskbar not working properly: permanently hidden

Hi, I have a surface pro 7+ with Windows 11. Recently my taskbar changed to hidden without me having changed anything in configuration. Now it's permanently hidden, despite the fact that the "automatically hide" option is off. How can I solve this? I want my taskbar not hidden, but permanently shown. Thanks
