Taskbar does not hide---Windows 10

I created a post earlier and did a clean install of the latest NVIDIA drivers and the problem still persists! It is especially frustrating when the Taskbar covers things that I need to access in programs. Right now, it is covering up the bottom of the screen. I have cleared all Notifications so they are not causing the problem and no program has a notice wanting input. Windows 10 Professional is updated.How can this be addressed?
