System stuttering after updating to 24H2

After updating from Win 11 version 23H2 to 24h2 my system randomly stutters. In some sessions, the stutters are very sparse; at other times the stutters occur more frequently. When these stutters occur the system freezes and the audio buzzes for less than a second. These stutters occur at random during gaming and while on desktop. When observing Task Manager I notice the 'System' process jumps to the top of the list. I don't see any excessive spikes in CPU, GPU, or memory usage when this occurs.
