A system restore was done, after my drivers disappeared, but after some time the screen went black with only the mouse pointer on screen. The PC was restarted, by pressing the on/off button for 10 seconds, whilst pressing F4 to get into Safe Mode, but the system returned to a black screen. Another restart was done, this time pressing F8, but again it displayed a black screen. The PC is a HP Compaq Elite 8300, installed with Windows 10 Home. At the moment my friends HP Compaq Elite PC is being used, them having lent it to me until mine gets sorted . Thanks, Steve (Swansea, Wales, UK.
