System Repair Disk

On Windows 11, 24H2, Build 26100.2033 (my current system), The OS will not allow to use a USB to create a system repair disk (under backup/restore Windows 7). I have already made a system image (backup) on my LaCie Hard Drive sucessfully. The current OS states it must be a CD/CD-ROM. This is old technology. Is there a way to create this system repair disk on a USB? Is this going to be changed-it really should be? Thanks, Chuck
