Switch User accounts and switch user option not showing up.

I have 2 user accounts on the device. After the latest (I suppose) update, I can only login to the current account and can not find any option to switch to another. I checked the settings and it showed me that the other account is still available. I tried to create another user, repair window, every solution I found on this forum from two others who had the same problem, but in vain. I ran a system file check, said it found integrity violations; after that I chose to verify and repair the OS type twice; said did not find any integrity violations (fixed at 1st attemp).
