Suspicion of a spyware alert

I got a spyware alert from Microsoft whilst using my Chromebook and was told not to shut my computer down or my computer can be crushed or my identity can be stolen. So I called the number that o was asked to to call and someone picked it up. He asked for my name, age, whether I’m a student or not and whether I have a bank account which I replied No because I don’t have one yet. But the call wasn’t going through anymore so I called again and another Microsoft worker picked and directed me to press and hold on escape, close the window and reboot my Chromebook.
