Suddenly my ethernet and adapter vanished after a internet settings reset and i need help

In short i opened my pc and seen i have no network so i did a reset of the internet settings from the windows settings then suddenly the ethernet adapter and such had vanished i tried a lot of things with cmd but it was useles the cable works cuz i tried it on another device and it did fine also when i restarted the settings turns own nobody near where i live had internet since a cable fell so now i am stuck with no adapter or idea what to do next
