Suddenly my entire display is enlarged and distored.

Overnight somehow, everything on my computer screen including my background, icons, websites, etc. showed up larger then normal and distorted. Some of my icons almost look like they have another icon under them. The zoom level is at a normal 100%. Resolution is set to the "recommended" 1024x768. Also, google chrome won't open. The icon is there, but it won't open. It's set as my default browser, and it worked fine before I went to bed. I think there might have been a microsoft edge update overnight, so I tried a system restore back to a couple of days ago, but that didn't help. I rest
