Stuck in a loop of being prompted to create a pin but getting the error that “something went wrong”

This morning when I went to sign into my laptop, it asked me to create a pin. I click next and then it gives me the message “Something went wrong” , “We weren’t able to set up your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later.” I click “Skip for now” and almost immediately get a black screen which kicks me back to the screen where I log into my Microsoft account. I am stuck in a perpetual loop and CANNOT open my computer to do anything. I have read every single “solution” to these issues on this website and none have worked or provided a working solution for anyone that has
