Hello,
I've got a Server 2012 box running for 7 years or so that recently has what i assume is a bad disk.
The storage spaces GUI previously showed a 3 drive pool, with 2 virtual disks. Right now it shows no disks. The OS still has the volumes mounted, so thats good.
running power shell cmdlts generally shows good stuff:
OS drive present, both Virtual disks present.
Windows PowerShell

PhysicalDisk3 False OK Healthy Auto-Select 930.75 GB

I'm nearly sure one disk in my pool is going bad. It fails western digitals quick diagnostic. What are my best next steps besides backing up? (done)
I know its physical disk 4 (in western digital diag) that is bad. I assume that might be physical disk 3 above? Best way to tell? Should i just remove the questionable disk and start up and see if i got it right?
