SSD Not Working

I recently got a new desktop, and decided to use my Samsung T5 SSD for extra space. I deleted all files, and plugged the drive into a USB-C port.While trying to download games, the download is interrupted by a Windows pop-up saying that an error was detected with the drive. I ran diagnostics, and it said no issue. I used the CHKDSK command, and it said the drive was healthy. I managed to get one game to fully download, but it crashes a few minutes after booting from the SSD.I should mention that this is an external SSD I had for about two years. What can I do to fix this?
