Speakers muting after 2 minutes

Since I did the Windows 11 update a few days ago, my speakers mute after 2 minutes of inactivity and then turn off a couple of minutes later. It doesn't happen if there is sound continuously playing.Things I've tried: Reinstalled drivers, unselected "allow applications to take exclusive control", set power management to performance mode, checked for any obvious power management settings related to sound.Dell XPS 8940; Bose Companion 5 multimedia set.
