Spam 2FA Emails?

I have recently started receiving quite a few emails from “Microsoft” with a 2FA code. The first few showed in my account activity details as being from the Moscow region, so were obviously hack attempts. I changed my password even though the account activity comment said that the login attempts were unsuccessful (because “the password used was incorrect”).
