When Windows 10 installed it changed my sound settings and set the headphones as the default sound device. Then the speakers on my laptop were disabled. I changed the default back to the speakers then the headphones wouldn't work. Normally the speakers would be the default and the headphones would activate when they were plugged in. This has been the norm in my life with every single audio device since my first radio purchase in 1970 up to this same laptop. Why would this change with Windows 10 and how can I change it back?
The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C75D-A.
