Sound Lost after Windows Update -missing drivers

My speakers/sound stopped working after a large Windows download recently. I have an HP Pavilion Elite Model HPC 410t which HP says is retired. There are no drivers on the HP support site . The message on the devices page states tha the AMD HDMI Output AMD High Def Audio Device is Not Plugged In. I tried to install PcHelpSoft Driver Update v 7.01050 using an Administrator Account but get setup was unable to create the directory c\Program Files(x86) \PC HelpsoftDriverUpdate ERROR 5: ACCESS IS DENIED . I think I need permissions set so the Administrator Account can write to the C drive I am
