Hello,
I have a question which might concern a connection problem of my Microsoft account to my main Windows User account.
I usually log into my PC using my Microsoft Account, and this is where I have all my apps and data installed. However, I use another local user account on my PC that I need to connect to a printer on my institutional network.
A few weeks ago, on this local account I connected my Microsoft Account to the Store App in order to install the new Onedrive app.
Since then, a few apps stopped working in my main user account (the one that is always connected to my Microsoft Account). These apps include Onenote, Groove, and Calculator. Furthermore, in the story app the installation of updates to the Onenote and Groove apps fails with the error code 0x80073CF6. The installation of other store apps works fine, as do the other Windows 10 apps I have installed.
I have tried a number of solutions recommended here, including:
- de-connecting my Microsoft Account from the story app of the secondary local account,
- de-connecting and re-connecting my main account to my Microsoft account
- running SFC scan
I do not want to do a complete System Refresh since I have many win32 programmes installed that I won't be able to restore afterwards.
Is there any solution you can recommend to get these apps and their updates running again?
Thank you very much.
Eric
