Snipping Tool Windows 11

Start Windows 11 Snipping Tool on taskbar>snip a rectangular area>Snipping Tool closes. Push the Snipping Tool icon on the Taskbar again to open showing the snip. Is there a way to prevent Snipping Tool from closing and forcing me to reopen?
