Slow downloads

Every single browser I use has slow downloads and I don't know why.I've used Chrome, Opera GX and Edge. UP until the 1gb mark of a download they run at around 6mb/s, when hitting a gb they drop to 700kb/s.All the browsers do the same.My download speed on other apps [i.e. steam, epic, etc.] is at least 50mb/s consistently. Internet speed tests say i have 500mb/s down. but for some reason my browsers are slow.I've looked at most of the advice on the web, including uninstalling anti-virus, turning off VPNs, clearing browser cache.... nothing has worked.any help would be greatly appreciated as One
