Slow Computer

I have the following: Dell Inspiron3647, 8GB RAM, 1TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive, Processor: 4th generation Intel (R) Core (TM) i.-4150, processor (3m Cache, 3.5 GHzWindows 10 and Microsoft Edge A month ago, I purchased and downloaded McAfee PC Optimizer because I was having slowness issues with my computer and the write up made it sound like the software would detect and fix all problems. My computer was slow to boot up, slow to load websites and slow to load programs like yahoo Mail, Word, Excell etc. I eventually uninstalled McAfee PC Optimizer because it made things worse. SLOWER
