Since installing July's cumulative update on my Surface Pro 7, 5 random keys on my keyboard aren't being recognised

Since installing July's cumulative update on my Surface Pro 7, 5 random keys on my keyboard aren't being recognised - if50, - i've tried to uninstall the update & restart but that's made no difference - please help!
