I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have been using a program that requires Silverlight for years now on Firefox. When the issue with Firefox certificates happened I somehow deleted Silverlight.
I got my Firefox back up and running 52.9.0 ESR which does support Silverlight. But now when I try and install Silverlight it says the installation failed.
I have tried using Microsoft Fix It For Me solution and when I run it it comes up saying that Silverlight is not installed.
I have tried installing as administrator as well and still get the same message.
I seen a suggesting saying to
Press Windows key + R, type: %temp%
Hit Enter
Delete contents of the temp folder
Restart your system and try downloading again.
But when I hit enter I get the error c:\Users/User\AppData\Local\Temp;C:\ is not accessible
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
Can anyone help me please. I really need to download Silverlight asap.
