SignatureAttributes with embedded signature?

I am building an APO and have been using the sysvad sample code as a reference. I only really want to build the APO DLL itself, so I was considering just skipping the driver catalog and doing an embedded signature on the DLL. However, the catalog seems to have additional SignatureAttributes that I will need, such as the PETrusted entry to allow the DLL to be loaded in the audiodg protected environment. Am I only able to add these attributes if I'm using a security catalog, or is there a way to have those as part of an embedded code signing signature?
