Shortcut icons from the "shell:AppsFolder"

In "how to put store apps on desktop" you create a short cut from the "shell:AppsFolder". Why is the actual icon tiny in a normal usually Blue or other coloured icon square. And not a full icon as seen in the "shell:AppsFolder"?Like this: Instead of like this, which looks better!
