Shift Keys Not Working

Both shift keys do not work. I have taken my computer in for repair and there is nothing wrong with my keyboard. I am upgraded to the most recent version of Windows 11. Launching the laptop in safe mode still doesn't help. So what could be causing this issue? Question mark added by copy and pasting as I have to do with every other symbol.
