setting up accounts in Mail App - error code 0x8007139f

I am trying to set up Mail on my laptop for a new yahoo account, however I keep getting the error code 0x8007139f like many other people.I have set up ok on outlook but had to use an authenticator password. I have tried usual and authenticator password and still get error code.I have read through the forum replies and still cant set up mail and keep getting the error code.I have deleted the app and re-downloaded as suggested... not sure what else to try?Can anyone help please?
