Setting Outlook 2016 to Default Application w/ Registry Editor/Command Line (mailto Fix)

Good afternoon,Is there a way to set default applications via registry editor/command line? Looking to set Outlook as the default mail application via a script so that "mailto" works as intended for our users.Thanks!
