Security Essentials definitions won't download. Windows Update won't install.

Manual download won't work either. Windows update won't install updates either.

I disabled Norton Security but it did not help. I suspect malware but nothing identifies the culprit.

I'm at the point that I want to reformat my drive but don't know how to install Windows 7 Premium again. It was installed by HP.
