Second monitor not detected but working

My PC was restored after a crash. While both monitors work, settings says it can't detect a second monitor. I can change the order of the monitors so that the main can be used for what I'm working on. However, the mouse action goes out the right side of the monitor and over to the send monitor which is to my left. Currently my main monitor is listed as #1 in "Rearrange your displays" but when I click on Identify, the number comes up listed as #2. When I click "detect", it says no other monitor detected. I really need to talk with someone about this.
