Search within a "Search Folder"

Hi,

I have created search folders, for example, for emails coming from a specific person. When I click it, it shows me all the emails from that person. I then want to search for specific keywords in emails from that person, but when I enter the keywords in the search box there are no results. This is despite the fact that i can easily find recent emails from that person with those keywords in the email. Why does this not work?
