After doing a successful search for email in outlook the search box (where you enter the search terms) any new keystrokes you enter into the search box will now be applied to the mail list below. Things like trying to move the cursor affect the list of mail - but do nothing inside the search box - even after clicking the search box.

This is a HUGE problem if you are trying to modify the search (as I was today). Using the mouse I placed the cursor at a point in the search wording, the cursor appeared there, and then I started pressing the delete key to modify it. After pressing it several times I realized I was deleting emails! I WAS DELETING EMAILS FROM THE RESULTS OF A SEARCH! Trying to recover these is nearly impossible as they are from a huge variety of dates and there's no "recently deleted" list that I know of - so I now have deleted a bunch of emails that might, or might not be important.

This mis-applied keystroke issue in the search box has been around now for a couple of weeks. It doesn't happen all the time - but when it does, watch out!
