Screensaver broken

I have a new Lenovo laptop (yoga slim 7i aura) and windows 11. When I select slideshow for my screen background, it immediately reverts to photo. I mean, the selection choice says slideshow for about 2 seconds, and then it reverts to photo. I never had this trouble with Windows 10.i want to set it to slideshow, but nothing fixes this glitch. Anyone have a fix? Thank you!
